When you land up at the amazon page, you can read the novel description:
In the suburbs of Mumbai, the atmosphere is grim. There is an evil shadow lurking around, stalking and snatching able-bodied people. The hapless victims are never found again, all their bodily traces lost forever. In the midst of this is Maya Bhargava, a schoolteacher trying to forget a past personal tragedy. Her career looks promising though. She is learning to pick the broken pieces of her heart and move on. While still trying to cope, love comes her way. It comes from the most unexpected of quarters, from a man named Bhaskar Sadachari who is despised and even feared for his weird ways. The sensible and cautious Maya has her head in the right place, but it is her heart that refuses to obey. She chooses her new husband. And the horrors begin to unfold and she finds out that Bhaskar is the illegitimate son of an Aghori, a Hindu cannibal sect. Aghori monks of holy city of Varanasi feast on human flesh and reside near cremation sites in search of spiritual enlightenment. This book is meant for mature readers. It contains elements of gore, strong language, nudity, and intercourse. The first draft of Maya's New Husband was written during NaNoWriMo 2014 and was a winner of the same. Maya's New Husband was a winner at The Literary Awards 2015 in The Entertainer category.

I already shared my views about this wonderful author at my Pishacha Blog before.  Still, If I need to add something here about him then I will surely add here is that his novels are my Favourite among the lot till now.  I am a horror lover and his writing is perfect to read at night. I love it, and if you are too a horror lover, then these novels are MUST BUY!

So, let’s comes to the review part

1.    The perfect cover any would like to imagine for this book, especially the 4 lined cross used for every partition which is placed right that readers would connect to while reading. The cover of the novel itself is very horrifying. Without even knowing the genre, you can sense that you are going to experience some ghost encounter in it.
2.    Very well written and the author takes the reader to a different world. If you think that you don’t believe in ghosts, then let me warn you all that kindly keep a hanuman Chalisa/ cross sign near you.
3.    The novel give explanation the existence of an agori and how they live their life; the monster within them, how they consume, how the animal in the form of a man would fulfil the sexual desire, and their mentality about how they are right, is written very well. The story is horrifying as when you turn the pages one after other you can see the whole seen in front of eyes/ deep in your head. I suggest readers must read this novel at night alone.
4.    The book starts off in a normal school, and slowly takes off to the agori world and the transition. Keep a glass of cold water near you, as you will surely need it time to time.
5.    The language of the novel is perfect. You will feel as if someone is narrating a true story to you and you can’t skip even one moment of that.
6.    I loved it.

From Me its 10/10
