I received this novel from Nikhil Sir when One day I approached him through my Facebook profile. He appreciated my keenness to read his novel and give my review for the same. When I ask him for review copy, he humbly asks my address and shows his enthusiasm towards talking with him. He is a humble and kind man that gave me a privileged to read his wonderful novel.

The 365 Days is a story of Shijukutty, who is married to Dhanya. He was a fisherman that soon turns out to be a labourer. The story talks about the sufferings of those who have wandered away from their homes to the distant suburbs of Dubai or the gulf countries to work there as backbreaking wage earners for the sake of dreams they have carved out for their families.

Once he reaches Dubai, the initial few days he is lost in the crowd, getting to know fellow Malayalis and other employees in the labour camp. And a day comes when he truly realizes that he is in a land of opportunity, where working hard and earning is the only thing he has to do.

The book is a rude awakening of millions of trapped abroad who have left their hometowns by choice, but now stand entranced.

The subsequent events further shatter him and break his spirit. Finally, the monster of Recession arrives to gulp him down. Then he decides to return back to his motherland and be with his family.

The cover and the title of the page is good.

I love the language and the plot.

In short, it is a MUST read!!!
