On this Sunday..

Cooking food is always an art for me !!! There is a NO fixed procedure to cook something good. If you love eating, then you surely love cooking too!
Coming back to the topic, I am here sharing me recipe on matar paneer.
Frankly speaking, the last thing I would eat is matar paneer. But when I decided to cook something nice this Sunday, the first thing that comes to my mind is this dish. I hate the dishes which are wet i mean “tarri wali”. I love thick gravy or “sukhi sabzi” more.

So, What I do, to break my mind set is searching differing methods of making this matar paneer on “you tube”. I found millions, having delicious looking pictures.
What I opt is “shahi paneer” looking matar paneer recipe.
Well, I hope you will try this and love like I do.
Time taken: 20 minutes
The ingredients you will need are:
·         Amul butter ( 5 spoon)
·         Zeera( 1 spoon)
·         Fresh malai( half cup)
·         Onions (4 piece)
·         Tomatoes(6 piece)
·         Tomatoes ketch up( 4 spoon)
·         Tomato parry( half packet)
·         Peas( 1 cup)
·         Paneer(250 grams)
·         Salt( to taste)
·         Red chilli ( 2 spoon)
·         Green chilli (2 )
·         Garam masala ( 4 spoon)
·         Dhhaniya powder ( 3 spoon)
·         Sugar (1 spoon)
·         Dhhaniya ( few leaves)
·         Milk ( 1 cup)

Method

·         Boil peas (1 cup) for 5 minutes adding little salt.
·         Cut paneer in small pieces and fry them to red colour
·         In a frying pan, put some butter (3 spoon)
·         Add Zeera (1 spoon)
·         Add ginger garlic paste(2 spoon)
·         Stir them nicely.
·         Chop onion.
·         Put onions in a frying pan.
·         Cook well till brown
·         Add salt to taste
·         Add tomatoes finely cut into small pieces.
·         Cook until they (onions and tomatoes) turn into thick gravy
·         Add red chilli powder, Garam masala, salt and paneer masala (I preferred MDH masala).
·         Cook well
·         Add tomato puree
·         Cook well
·         Add milk (half cup)
·         Cook in medium flame
·         Add peas
·         Cook well
·         Add fried paneer pieces
·         Add fresh malai
·         Add Butter
·         Add Sugar
·         Cook well, until they get nice red colour.
·         Add Dhhaniya powder and Dhhaniya leaves for garnishing
·         Serve hot with butter parantha

Well, I love the consistency. One tip I need to add that we must avoid water in cooking this dish. Water will make this dish less in consistency. Milk will add taste ad make it thick.
I personally love it.
I hope you too
