Hello! and welcome to my another blog-DELHI TO AGRA BY TRAIN (Shatabdi Express Train) BY CHESHTA.

Agra is the beautiful city of India situated on the bank of yamuna river in the state of Uttar Pradesh.  Its 206 kms aways from national capital New Delhi. Agra is the fourth-most populous city in Uttar Pradesh and 24th in India.

Being an Indian, Agra is no alien name for us! But if you are new to this beautiful state, then, this blog is especially written for you!

Official website- https://agra.nic.in/

Today, in this blog, I am going to share a small information on how to reach Agra from New delhi through Indian Railways at affordable rates!

So let's get started!

Delhi>Agra are well connected by train and road network...best train on this route are Shatabdi and Gatimaan express.

1. Shatabdi is at 6 am from New Delhi Railway station and takes 2 hours to reach Agra.

2. Shatabdi is good, but it is a bit early in the morning, leaving New Delhi at 6:00 am. I would recommend Gatiman (fastest train of India), which specially runs for tourist who want to go Agra. It runs between Delhi and Agra and back from Agra to Delhi, no stoppage between these 2 stations. It leaves Hazrat Nizamuddin (Delhi) at 8:10 am and reaches Agra at 9:50 a.m. It is taking 100 mins to cover this 188 km distance. In this train, we have two class. It has 2 classes, one is executive class, and another class is chair car breakfast included).

Cost of the ticket for Gatimaan is 1000 to 1500 per ticket approx per person and for Shatabdi is 700 to 1100 INR per person approx

Me and my husband took shatabdi, and that was a good experience!

let me share few images/ videos with you from inside the train!
