Leave encashment

Today we are getting many perks in company. It is NOT just salary and 5 days working environments that make you love your love your current company. Well, I am an online writer in a reputed company. Apart from working from home environment, I am stunned to get an amazing perk today. This perk is not new. But yes, it is first time that I am being part of it. So, my today’s topic is “Leave encashment”.

Yes... that perk is “leave encashment”.
To start with let me explain what exactly this leave encashment is all about. It is a amount of money that is been encased to the employee in the behalf of not taking leaves that are given to them. These leaves are sick leaves and casual leaves.
All companies have different procedures in this regard. Coming to my personal company, we have few points that need to consider while taking an advantage of these perks.
Let us take a look at it.
1.      Every employee is entitled to have 2.15 leaves per month. These leaves has be stanchion by managers and HR beforehand.
2.      If employee doesn’t take these leaves, that leaves are carry forward to next month. 
3.      It means:
·        January: 2.15 leaves (if no leaves taken)
·        Feb: 2.15 + 2.15= 4.30  leaves in account
4.      To encash this money, every company have some minimum point, like in my case there should be at least 21 leaves in account to encase the money.
5.      These encasements are paid with the salary


Well this is as far as clear and excellent to think about.
I mean to keep the employees happy and contented; the best thing to offer them is MONEY.
