We are
living in that society where we are more concern about what other are thinking
about us. I mean I am girl and opting
any career has to be accepted by society first than concerning about my own
will.
I am an
English graduate from Delhi University.
It is a BIG
thing.
Studying
literature is wisest thing that a girl can do. It is being sophisticated.
So coming
back to the topic, I actually was a PRO working in a media concern. But god has
different plans for me I guess, I grow as a writer, Content writer!
That is a
best thing that can ever happen to me.
I mean,
there are many people who are feared from thing alien language: English and
took it as a status symbol, I am writing professionally in ENGLISH!!!
But..
Some has
really said perfectly that “ jitney muh
utni baate”
I am writer
and working from home. I mean I can serve my family + take care of my beauty+
do my regular gyming+ write well= perfect life!!!
That is
actually perfect.
But I want
to share one instance that I have heard about this profile that make me stunned
with confusion.
One day, I
heard from one of my aunt:
“After
marriage you have to change your job right?”
“WHY”
“I mean aise to tum ghareloo ban jaoge”
I was quite
and thinking deep behind the statement.
I mean i am
NOT that kind of girl that do things that others want me to do. I love
following my selves.
But that
statement actually makes me wonder that Is she actually giving me advice or is
she was jealous about my so perfect job?
I am
freelancer. I mean I am a content writer working from home from one of the
biggest e commerce company in India. It is a brand name.
After
hearing about this statement, I have planet of thoughts popping out of my mind.
1.
When I was a
PRO, people want me to be a teacher. Teacher according to them is a best job
for girls as they can come back home at 4 and look at their home and office
easily.
2.
PRO is NOT a
thing that I can think after being married as my in laws might not like me to
going to distant office meeting my clients and have such a modern kind of life
style is NOT fit for us.
3.
So opting
Content writer professionals is best for girls. People will NOW be happy.
4.
Freelancing,
I mean working home from home will be cherry to top for both for me and my
whole big family.
5.
Now being at
home will make me “ghareloo” and PRO will make me a “absurd”???
6.
What should
I do exactly?
I am
actually having NO idea what exactly people around me want from me?
I don’t want
to think much. I love what I am doing.
