Amazin says: Following the deadly Pulwama attack, Clinton Joseph of the NIA is assigned a secret job of catching the masterminds. Joseph’s investigation leads him to various clues, one of which points to a prisoner terrorist Al-Khaled, in India.

Through the traps of betrayal, hatred and death, Clinton is determined to bring the perpetrators of the Pulwama attack into the light of justice. Owing to his findings, the Indian Air Force launches an airstrike across the border. The strike leads to the capture of Indian Wg. Cdr Anand behind the enemy lines.  Now the Review:

The book is a story woven around the dreadful incident that happened in February 2019 at

Pulwama village, Jammu & Kashmir. The action sequences, the emotional quotient and two interesting tales running parallel make the book extremely interesting. Based on the actual incident, authors Vivek Trivedi and Smitha Agarwal gave their readers an inspiring and interesting story that involves action, emotion, patriotism, unconditional love, valour and responsibility. In this 134 page book, there is no single place where the reader's mind get off track. This is fine work in the realistic fiction genre. I recommend this book to every book lover.

The story runs in two parallel threads — what happened to the pilot Anand who was caught behind the enemy border and what will Clinton Joseph, NIA officer investigating the Pulwama attack find about the reasons and personnel behind this gruesome attack. The narration keeps alternating between these two storylines and keeps the reader on the edge. The mood of the book if set by the backdrop chosen and the pace is maintained well by the authors till the end.

At less than 150 pages, it makes for a quick read. This book makes for a good read for fans of thriller and action stories and to those who like to read about contemporary events.
