This is a tale of a girl next door Aranya, who suffers from a disease
called vitiligo right from her birth and because of this she is unable to get
support and love from her family. Her brother is loved and cared more than her
by her parents despite all her hard work to get scholarships so her parent's
money could be saved. She struggles to get love and attention from anyone and
everyone throughout her life. I get connected woth this girl, As in my
childhood, I too suffered same.
Then there is this boy named Dhruv who cannot take his parent's divorce
well and is quite disturbed because of this and everything falls out of place
in his life. His ruined childhood leads him to be cold hearted.
Both the characters meet each other in school and fall in love. Their
love story takes ugly turn when they are caught together in school- kissing!
But that was not the end; they meet again in college and leaves no opportunity
to make each other's life as bad as hell. They hated each other like anything
but also loved each other from the core of their hearts.
Its a Hate-Love story and author has tried something different. The
writing is humorous and witty and i loved it so much. The imperfect characters
with their own flaws are portrayed perfectly. It is a must read!
I love each page, Each word and every conversation they had!
I officially
declare Durjoy guilty of raising my expectations when it comes to guys! People
in real life aren't like that Durjoy!
I adore every single character in this book.. (well except for her dad, his dad,.. you get the gist right?)
My favorite has got to be Sanchit! I love this guy! Can we please get a book that has Sanchit as the main guy? Please?!
I loved the conversations between Dhruv and Aranya. They were great but I do have a few problems with this book!
