I met this wonderful author through my facebook page. He was a kind and humble man. He looks disciplined like all doctors do. I mean since my childhood, I always believed that doctors and Army man are the spices that are destined to talk, walk and live in most disciplined manner.  This author was the same and talk perfectly as per my expectation of my mind (wink). Sir was very polite since the beginning and shared a C Aruna of Indus Publishing Group in Bangalore. Contact details with me so that we can coordinate further.  Since the very beginning, I was curious to read his novel as it look very heavy and history packed! I got the novel through amazon and it was perfectly designed with hard bond cover.

When you land up at the amazon page, you can read the novel description like this:

This is the story based on the main event within the seventh book of Rigveda. It is the story of an epic battle between Sudas of Bharatas and Cayamana of Anus leading confederacy of ten disgruntled kings. It takes place on the banks of River Ravi, it is also battle between the two of the most powerful sages of Rigveda-Vashista and Vishwamitra.Extensive research into the vedic scriptures and archaeological records have helped to create a fascinating insight into the geography of the battle. It is the battle whose result is paradigm shifting in that the outcome decided the future of the great epics of India-Ramayana and Mahabharata

Now let me review it.

1.       The hard bond cover of the novel gave me a very good impression of the novel. It looks extra ordinary and worth to read. It give me an impression that the cover and binding is so nicely done that i can expect the content to be outstanding.
2.       The cover page and color of the cover is brown and dusty that gives me a feeling of past and histry, apt as per the genre.
3.       The name of the novel is tempting and self explain try.
4.        This novel talks about the historical evidence in the RigVeda (including geographical features, place names, people/communities, etc.).
5.       The language of the novel is very simple and engaging.
6.       If you want to know everything about Harappa Series, this is the novel for you!

I loved it.

From my side its 5/5
