Now the Review:
This story is fast moving. The author quickly introduces the characters and focuses on the story and the mystery with a strong sense of purpose towards resolving it for the readers.
I liked that every chapter opens with a verse from the "chalisa" and lays the groundwork for the events to come. The author gives us her interpretation of the "chalisa" but it is far from being pedantic, it is rather informative of her faith. There is much of a coincidence that all characters and their names line up conveniently with the story she weaves, but I would just leave it as artistic liberty :)
