Ganesh Chaturthi 2020: Ganesh Utsav of Vighnaharta Ganpati will be celebrated on 22 August Saturday on Bhadrapad Shukla Paksha Chaturthi. On this day, devotees install Lord Ganpati in their home. It is said that Lord Ganapati takes away the sufferings of his devotees. Lord Ganesha is immersed 10 days later on Anant Chaturdashi. Lord Ganesha is considered as the god of wisdom, prosperity and good fortune.

Let's have a look at this video for tips how we can do this pooja :)

Ganesh Chaturthi 2020: Prohibited moon sighting

On the day of Ganesh Chaturthi, devotees are advised not to see the Moon. It is believed that one who sees the moon on Ganesh Chaturthi creates Mithya Dosham or Mithya Kalank, which means false accusation of stealing something.

According to Drikpanchang, one must not look at the sky between 9:24 am to 09:46 pm. (Duration: 12 hours 19 mins)

Too, It's important, according to tradition, not to look at the moon during certain times on Ganesh Chaturthi. If a person sees the moon, they'll be cursed with accusations of theft and dishonored by society unless they chant a certain mantra. Apparently, this came about after Lord Krishna was falsely accused of stealing a valuable jewel. Sage Narada said that Krishna must've seen the moon on Bhadrapada Shukla Chaturthi (the occasion that Ganesh Chaturthi falls on) and was cursed because of it. Furthermore, anyone who saw the moon then would be cursed in a similar way.

Tennis Rackets

There are plenty of rackets to choose from, with the standard particularly good, even at the lower end of the scale. Rackets for beginners and junior-sized rackets are relatively inexpensive, but don’t just go for the cheapest — choose one that matches your body and grip size. Ask for advice from the sales assistant. Don’t assume that once a string has broken the racket is no good and should be thrown away. If it is a good one, it may be worth having it re-strung and having the tension adjusted to suit your play.

I can suggest-

1. HEAD

2. Willson

3. COSCO

Practice

The world's best players have spent years getting to where they are, starting at an early age and with help from some of the best coaches. You may play well one week, and then appallingly the next, for no apparent reason. Don’t get downhearted by this — it’s normal! Just keep playing and your game will eventually sort itself out.

Trust me, you need to be patient and calm.

It can take upto 6 months hitting your non stop 50 balls also. But dont loose hope- PRACTICE, till you succeed.

Stay Refreshed

Remember to drink plenty, especially during warm weather, and you can even take light snacks. You will see professional players taking a drink or eating banana during a break in play.

Hitting The Tennis Ball

Aim to hit the ball at waist height. It's easier to hit the ball after it has bounced and is on its way down after it's reached the highest point in the air.
