and don't know what to do next waiting

to see what the judge has in store for me

This aching poetry of a young girl is written be Paulette Essie and I can’t resist myself to start my article with this heart touching poems. What a beautiful poem this person has written. A poor girl may be the age of 8 or 9 is suffering due to the crime that she isn’t known about. She forced to be a prostitute and now she is jail and having punishments that she is didn’t even wished to commit.

So let’s come to the main topic in which we are going to read now. We all are aware about the fact that Women security is the main concern that India is dealing with nowadays. Not just small villages or hostels, but main cities like Delhi are not even safe and secure for women.

The recent case of “nirbhaya in New Delhi” makes many people wonders that if girls should be allowed to go out and study and work or they MUST kept confined in 4 walls of the house for the sake of security.  To avoid this topic of women security, many ill brain people raise the issues that girls should go out at the time of 8 at night, or girls should be wearing proper clothes or simply they say that might girls provoke them.

My concern here in this topic is NOT women security. I am raising a different issue that every one of us must consider once. And that topic is –The dark road of Prostitution! By the work of slut or prostitutes, we have a very disgust feeling? Isn’t? It is may be because of the fact that we always keep the notion of prostitution as the sex for money. I want my readers to know beyond all this. I hope after this article your prospective changes.

A woman is a Woman!!!

First of all let me tell you what exactly the prostitution means??? It is sexual service in the lieu of money. In India, it is NOT ILLEGAL!!!!  But activates related to it are illegal like petition for sex in a public place, pavement packed, owning a brothel are crime.

How it gets started???

It is said that in ancient India, many rich kings ask nagarvadhu to sing and dance in front of them. At that era, these girls are not referred as prostitutes, but “Brides of Town”. It is a fact that the Portuguese in Goa during 16 to 17^th century used to slave Japanese young girls for sexual pleasures.  In 18^th and 19^th century, when British comes to India they set a comfort sex zones for them. They actually wishes to have child and use women as a tool t satisfy their sexual pleasures! They set prostitutes rings.

It is not hidden and a secret trade of women in Indian society. Using a women body for your own pleasure and calling her a whore is a sin nest things that man can ever do in the past till now.

There are many Indian organizations that work in the regard of the safeguard of this perish and equal to dead women to come out from this “ dark road” and live a peaceful life!  These organizations have many plans and parameters to get the goal perfectly.

      Predominance

It is said to know that where we hear all the times that women are scoring more than men in studies or women doing better in all fields as compared to men, this data never raise to public! There are almost 2 millions female sex workers in India. It is indirectly means that we are avoiding 2 millions man powers in India.  In 2007, the Ministry of Women and Child Development states that 3 millions female sex workers in India, out of which 35% of them are trade from outside India. Worst thing to know about this is that mostly girls are below the age of 18 years or so.  The number is raising fast and it is becoming pitiable and wretched.

Locations:

There are many places where these sex workers are being humiliated and use for sexual pleasure for navigable amount of money that you spend for having a mean at Mc. Donald’s even. They are available in lane in Kamathipura, a red light district in Mumbai. It is the most practiced and didn’t have any official sanction too.  The second comes in the list is Asia’s largest red-light districts are Sonagachi in Kolkata, Kamathipura in Mumbai and G. B. Road in New Delhi. They have thousands of sex workers.

Children Enrolment:

It is sad to see the data of the children included in this rackets. It is estimated that around 1.2 millions children take the pictures in it. At the age when they didn’t even know what all these sexual organs are all about, they are forces to get in prostitution where they have no exit doors.

Legal status:

The low that deals with the status of sex workers is called as The Immoral Traffic (Suppression) Act (SITA), 1956. It states that prostitution is legal and they can practice it solicit way or we can say that they are not allowed to peruse men or customers in public. If anyone practice he sexual act in public place they will be punished. It also added as having a brothel or managing a racket under the brothel is also crime in India. It is also important to know that government of India too added that women cannot carry these services up to the 200 yards of public places. They are NOT taken as labours in India and hence all the rights of labours like payments and security is not there for these sex workers too. It is also given that if any girl who wants to get out of these services and get a mental rehabilitation, they can ask governs to help them.

Indian Panel Code (IPC) is the one that take care of the rights of the sex workers. Over the years, India is making efforts to make prostitution as legal service in India to avoid the over exploitation of sex workers.

PITA:

PITA means that The Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act that is a 1986 amendments in INDIA. This act is founded to limit and abolishing the prostitution in INDIA.  The main factors that PITA considers on are:

      Any sex worker who seduces any man in public will be prosecuted. No girl can publishes their phone number in public or social media sites for sex work. It can in turn to them an Imprisonment of 6 months and a fine.

      Any sex workers cannot work in public areas; it can cause imprisonment of 3 months to the female.

      Man who is engaged in sex with the sex workers in public will be charge of imprisonment of 3 months. And if the sex workers is below the age of 18 years, the imprisonment to 7 to 10 years.

      Any man who is living with a prostitute and living on her earning, will also come under the crime can be put behind the bars for 2 years.

      The landlords and managers that keep the brothels are comes under the crime and can be put behind the bars for 3 years.

      If any female or sex workers want to get out of these services and ask for help, government can provide them with protective home for assistance.

So far it is good form government part!!! I am impressed and Indian government have given so many help and try to keep force sex services in India.

The main concern is that what all reasons force these girls to get into prostitutions?? We have good survey team with us that try to find out many reasons.  They include:

      Fellow citizen in involvement with parents

      People as pimps

      Sex workers in same locality

      Mysterious person/accidental conference with pimp

      Mother/sister/near relative in the occupation

      Lover export to brothel

      People gives counterfeit expectation job

      Husband (legally married)

      childish college student selling to brothel

Most of my readers indisputably are acquainted with who Adalia is! Similar to most of 6 years old kids, this girl too loves to sing, dance, play and study. This girl become one of the most famous person on the Facebook around may 2013 when her mother decided to create a page for her to keep in touch with the near and dear ones and let them know the progress in her life. In her page our reader can see millions of images and videos. You will be stunned to see how this cute girl is dancing, making voices, singing, eating and swimming with her brother. She is all unaware about her conditions and the unusual body structure that life has set her with. Her popularity can be measure with the fact that her post earns around 60 comments in just 2 min.

The most shocking news comes across was that how some people spread rumour about her death around July this year? Many RIP comments are seen on the page and even many fake pages were created by the name of “R.I.P Adalia”. But soon it was denied by her mother on 27 July 2014 that she is all fine and sleeping on her bed with perfect health.

Well.. I am writing this post not just telling the importance of interviews or how to get prepared for it. We can easily get millions of that posts on web. Right? Well my motive is little different and weird that many of you might experienced in the course of interviews. In this editorial I am sharing my feeling on after interview period.. I mean the time between when we actually went for an interviews and we actually get as response- Might be YES or NO, no matter what!   
Here in this post, I like to dedicate all my senior HR departments that call many candidates for interviews and asked them to never leave that opportunity behind that they are offering to them.

But before I start, I want all my readers to understand what actually want to endeavour. 

When is the time when you want to switch your job? According to me, it is when you might think that your current salary is not adequate or simply you have some problem in current office or it can be you want to have bigger brand name attached to you? Right?

In this post I am NOT considering freshers. 

No, I don't have any problem with them but I want to be constraint to experienced candidates ONLY. 

Let me tell you the procedure involve in it that actually seems to be very simple but very complex too.
1. candidate post their resume in the job postal. I actually rely on naukri.com
2. From the very next day, we get "n" number of calls for companies, recruitment agencies and telly callers.
3. In between the office hours candidate have to attend calls
4. During the calls, candidates have to be very polite.
5. In the calls, the HR is very eager to call you on the very next day as the opening is about to close
6. They cant even wait for a week for the interview scheduling
7. Taking care of the emergency and urgency of the HR, poor candidate says yes for interviews.

But, this is NOT all!!!

Candidates have to take a leave from the current firm and have to over look the current project they are dealing in.

Actually I want to confined on my case particularly, to express my feelings in regard of this. I am one of those lucky peaple who are working from home. So, after completing good tenure at my current firm, I want to join some publications for good growth and exposure.

So, I keep the traditions and follow the magical 7 steps elaborated above.

But before that, I want to add few details. I am working as a content writer with very less remuneration that actually left me very sad and unhappy. My family keeps me saying that I must not leave this job as it is better than any job as I can be confined in my home with my family whole day without caring about my dresses (as I can easily work wearing my pajama), I can wake up late at 10 without skipping my beauty sleep, and most important I didnt care about office politics too.

But, I was NOT happy!

I asked myself.. WHY?? I am confused. I hate travelling and I love my current job too. BUT still I want to change my job. WHY? only coz of the salary? NO!!

Actually .. I wanted to change and wanted to work in some publications.. due to many reasons:
1. I want to wear formal daily and look good
2. I want to travel like all my friends  and talk to my colleagues and have trolls
3. I want to look like working women to have respect
4. I want to have higher salaries
5. Full 2 days off 
6. Bigger brand name Bigger happiness

Did I dream big? Nah!!

I deserve it.

Well... coming back to the track..

So, when we post the updated CV to the job portal, you get a call from company. The point you get a call, you become very happy and expect that now you can go out and grow like ever one else is doing.

BUT..

It actually have complex routine before going to the interview..
1. You have to convince the family that let you go as being a girl they dont really want to leave easy work from home job and going out for daily 4 hours metro travelling just for "brand name and better salary with respect"

Well.. this stage is actually very difficult because cooking dinner at night is more important then going out for working and proof yourself. Poor indian thing!!!

After so much struggle, We actually covienced them to let us go.

Deep in our mind, we are reading wikipedia and company profile for interview, taking out print out of our resume, taking leaves from jobs, and getting ready for interviews.

Coming back to the call that we received from HR seems to be very important and urgent that surely give us a hint that we will surely get a offer letter.

So, Next morning this is the general process:
1. wake up early as the interviews are scheduled
2. Getting ready
3. being nervous
4. getting wishes from parents" best of luck". I mean the burden of expectation of parent that You need to have offer letter as a token to proof that you are deserving and you can get a job there.
5. Travelling so long
6. Costly affairs

So, now after 2 hours of travelling we actually reach the venue. And attend the interview.

Good thing for thea all the interviews are that they all seems to be very simple and happy go lucky!
1. I submit my resume
2. Fill up the applications
3. F2F: very good
4. Written exam: That actually get cleared as they says that I dont have any problem hiring you

And everything go all fine and HR says that They will call you in 2 days due to formalities.

After giving so much time and efforts and EXPECTATIONS , we come back- EMPTY HANDED.

Many of my readers might experienced like me.

We come back home and told our families that  It was outstanding and we will surely get call in 2 days.

BUT

It becomes even worst..
1. NO calls
2. family keeps on asking did you get the call
3. When you call them: they says process need time, wait
4. Even after 30 days NO call/ email : NOT even the denial
5. MOST IMP: In between you get a call from different company you have to deal with your family more as you didn't get any response from last interview as well.

According to me, my main concern is not "NO" but the absence of response. 

1. We tend to get another leaves
2. We never get any response , Not even a NO
3. Confidence reduces
4. We stop going to genuine interviews as we think that we will not get a response
5. embarrassment in family  

Off..

It actually very embarrassing and frustrating!!!

So, i want to request all the HRs that we all trust you that when you select any candidates that MUST be a deserving one. We expect from your call. I just want to request that after calling an candidate for the interview you must take time to call them for feed back in 2 days for at least letting them know what actually the result.

Being an HR is a huge responsibility. calling candidates and taking interviews and giving offer letters to selected candidates is NOT ALL. 

But according to me, calling to unselected candidates too is your responsibilities. 

Closing any case is IMPORTANT. 

Having a feedback of " Sorry you cannot make it" is always better than " wait that never ends".
Its actually very irritating and frustrating!!!

Such a wiser words by the Director general of the Indian Police service is Heart touching. Every one of us has a mindset that Police force is the Callous and cruel. Similar set of mind set ,I too have. Being an Indian and moreover a Women , she entirely changed our outlook.

Tihar jail is meant to be the toughest prisons in India and she had managed that before becoming Director general of the Indian Police Service. She changed the place into a center of learning and meditation. The above video proof that Kiran Bedi is truly a Indian women that not only punished the criminal but also made there life worth living.

After Looking at the video I have come across many instances that proof that Kiran bedi not only changed our outlook towards criminals but also give me a privilege to call my self as a 'girl'.

Kiran bedi was born in India in male oriented society   in 50s. That was the time when boys are brought up to inherent the family property and girls to get married. There was no proper definition of women at that time. and at that time Kiran Bedi made a difference.

She says that Life is inclined. Its either comes down or goes up. and that inclination depend on our own self. She says that Life may have 100 of problems. And we have to think that 90 are own creations! She has a philosophy of 90/10. and she tells that we should take every moment seriously.

The time when kiran Bedi lived was ,when girl didn't get opportunity to do anything . And this philosophy is outcome of that fact that what she is getting from her parents at that time is incredible.  and she made that Worth. So the next inspiration I gather from her is we should never cry that our life is full of pain. We should be positive and use very opportunity to the fullest and make worth out of it.

If you have some problem in your life. Take a initiative to find a solution of that. As nobody else will do that for you. And keep moving!

After the background here comes the main difference that she brings in Police. That difference which was different from male police . That was different because Kiran Bedi was different. and that Difference made a Difference.

she started educating the prisoners of Tihar Jail. It was the first ever prison in whole world that serve as a centre of education. It was her Who started it. And it was started in Delhi, India.

She change prison to ashram through education. and that was inspiring. She can left a job being a Indian women But she didn't. she comes forward and made a difference.

Another landmark that she had created is Meditation. Yes! Don't be shocked to read this. She had changed a prison to centre of education and meditation ground.

2.Margaret Heffernan



Next in the list is the women who inspires me to Disagree. Yes! she is telling us its not bad to disagree. We often see people avoid argument with there colleagues, love ones, family to avoid the conflicts. And believe me ,I too believe the same before watching this video too.

So lets have a look that whats she is actually want to say.

Margaret Heffernan is an entrepreneur, CEO, writer and keynote speaker.
Her motto is "Let's not play the game, let's change it."

That is pretty inspiring to read to. Most people instinctively avoid conflict, but as Margaret Heffernan shows us, good disagreement is central to progress.

Here in this Video clip Margaret is also narrating one instance of Women Doctor on 1950s.  She was from the same college that she had passed from too. She acknowledged the fact that she finds her unique not only because she was the youngest to be choosen as physician from the college, But because of the fact that she continues to work even after she got married. Its was a big thing in 50s. 

That was incredible!

I found this video very interesting, another point that I focus on, is that even when the information was freely available and showed that x-ray during pregnancy contributed to cancer rates in children, doctor’s did not use that information, until 25 years later.

Part of the problem was that it takes time to transform perception, even if the data shows that it is incorrect.  We not only need to Dare to disagree, but also dare to believe in an alternative view or belief based on data and new information.  We must ourselves be open to changing our own views or consider other possibilities.

 'less stuff and less space = less CO2, more $ and more :) . Wow what a thought. We all think that if we have more objects we will be happy. But whats this?  Graham hill is saying totally different.

Yes. this is the topic that stuck me to see whole video at Ted to let me understand what exactly Hill want to convey.

By reading 'less Stuff, More happiness' , I banned my head that how it can be possible that less stuff leads to more mental happiness?

But after watching whole speech of Hill, I was convinced by his idea.It really inspired me to do similar to that.

As he says ' Small is Sexy' . So I want to see this video and learn next inspiration for life. Graham Hill makes concise, intelligent points about why becoming a minimalist makes sense.

"We've got to cut the extraneous out of our lives, and we've got to learn to stem the inflow. We need to think before we buy. Ask ourselves, 'Is that really going to make me happier? Truly?'" (Graham Hill)

That's a good thought indeed.

He demonstrated three main steps by which we can achieve that.
1. Edit Ruthlessly:

Here he says that we are compiled with many things which we are not using for years. It can be clothes, shoes or simply machines.

He says why to keep them with us?

 They are just taking extra spaces. They are not giving any happiness to us.

I asked my mind about this statement that Graham makes. I was contented with the fact that he was right. I have , like you , many useless stuff that are not in use that can be 'edited'.

That's called less stuff, More happiness!

I know many of you must be thinking that how we can ripe off the stuff as it must have many memories attached to it. But here we have to be sensible .

Just " Edit Ruthlessly".

What??? I mean people says "think larger than life." and why he is saying " think small? let me explain. He raises the point that many think can be disappear by magic. Papers, books, Chairs etc.

I was very convinced with second step too.

Lets look at the third step of less stuff , More happiness. He states ' Makes Multifunctionals'. By that he gives instances that one thing can be utilised in many work. It gives happiness. And you don't need more stuff to do that same work.

For instance one dining table turns bed. That was pretty cool.

I liked it.

In the end I am very convinced that Less stuff can lead to more happiness.

I hope too get the same frame of mind.  That's too inspired me .

4.Matt Cutts

The next 30 days are going to pass whether you like it or not, so why not think about something you have always wanted to try and give it a shot for the next 30 days?(Matt Cutts)

So here comes our 4th inspirational video. This videos is all about adding a new habit in your life and subtracting one bad. As we all know that we are not perfect. we all have follies for sure. and who all are saying they are perfect, You better check out again.

Or simply we are stuck with our daily routine that we didn't get a time to try anything new?

Matt Cutts is an engineer at Goggle, where he fights link spam and helps webmasters understand how search works .

Is there something you've always meant to do, wanted to do, but just ... haven't? Matt Cutts suggests: Try it for 30 days. This short, lighthearted talk offers a neat way to think about setting and achieving goals. 

He starts with a statement -Few years ago, I feel like I was stuck in a rut. 

That was quite similer with many of us.  We all are doing same daily routine work that we didn't get a time to try to do new things.

He starts following American philosopher- Morgan Spurlock. and hence this video is based on this American philosopher Strategy, And he start trying new things for next 30 days. He says that try find something that you want to add to your life and try that in next 30 days.

 When I heard this idea , I start making points that what is that, that I always wanted to do . I easily get many things. I wanted to bake a cake, ride a cycle, so on.

He further explain this concept by saying that we can make  a list having 'Added' and ' subtrating' .

 This is a screenshot to give u an idea to how you can make the list. He further says that these small changes are sustainable and make a difference in his life.

5.Laura Trice

In our childhood, everyone of us has taught 3 magical words- Sorry, Thank you and Please. But where are these magical words gone?

All thanks to Laura trice who reminds me a magical word that we should remember to say-Thank you.

In this short simple 3-minute talk, Dr. Laura Trice narrated on the power of the magic words "thank you" -to deepen a friendship, to repair a bond, to make sure what another person means to you.  And it really makes a difference.

After looking at the video I realise that I didnt remember last time when I thank my mum for making food for me, Or dad to drop me to the office or simply a friend to be with me when I am in a need.

The father told everybody else that he was proud of him, but he never told the son. It’s because he didn’t know that his son needed to hear it. So my question is, why don’t we ask for the things that we need.(Laura)

Many of you too feel the same.
