The Colour of Love: Trumpets and bugles, there was music all over... by Jagdish Joghee

Jagdish sir is now my one of the best authors!

He has made an enchantment with his effortlessness of considerations and narrating ability. The dialect utilized as a part of the book is anything but difficult to fathom and the novel qualifies as a delightful light read.

The story plot is woven attentively and the turns and turns keep the gathering of people to the edge of their seats.

His joining school, managing irritating seniors makes the start of the book truly fascinating. Initially, his character depicts well how one mistakes fixation for affection.

As reflected in the title, a beautiful subject of affection is running over the book, delineated part savvy.

Along these lines, simply enjoy a reprieve with this story of affection, of growing up, of discovering adoration and losing it again to the tricks of this universe.

Dialect and Narration-Language of this book is basic yet great. Describing style of Mr. Joghee is OK and together with pace, story stream is easy.

Storyline and Plot-Mr. Joghee have astounding narrating aptitudes which I am certain you'll feel while understanding this book. All the school scenes are composed splendidly. The harmony amongst over a wide span of time story is great. With all the unforeseen wanders aimlessly and smooth storyline, writer serves another splendid book and enthrall his perusers altogether.

Pros:

1. The characters and their development are appeared in a stunning way.

2. Something new is offered to peruse.

3. Great read for first time perusers and a decent book regardless.

4. Extremely astounding tension thriller.

5. The peak is simply great. It lets us know that Love can happen twice.

Cons:

1. The plot gets unsurprising on occasion and the story gets a touch of exhausting.

2. The vocabulary part could be somewhat better.

3. As our creator appears to be truly attached to south Indian states. I thought they are just so too much portrayed. It was not that necessary.

A convincing and an energizing page turner that keeps you pondering about the profound shades of affection that stands on life tragedies.

There's nothing I found not affable separated from the length of the book. I wished to peruse all the more yet it finished too early. I should say this book has touched my spirit.

I cherish it

The Soft Target by Kalyan Nanda

The soft target is a story of boy who struggles with god plans at every stage of his life. With rare mental problems but a genius mind, his story starts from a village of Orissa and takes him to the high societies of Mumbai. He always faced bad treatment by god and gets harassed by others for no fault. Whenever he thinks that now his life is going to be okay, the god always thrown him back to the valley of failure but Mohan never left the struggle.

When we look at the cover page of the novel or just the title of the novel, we can predict that it can be a story of the boy who is bullied by people around him. But this novel holds a lot more than that!

The writing style of kalyan is very simple and keeps you stuck to the plot.

With simple usage of language, we can also see the strong essence of sarcasm and wit that keep you smiling instead of such a poignant situation of Mohan.

The breakup and a proposal scene in the novel are best portrayed.

The Soft Target offers you with a perfect writing style through the luminous characterization, picturesque description of places and time.

I loved the book.

The vocabulary used is magnificent as well as the orientation used or the way the author connects the audience in form of making conversation with readers is praiseworthy.

COVER: The pitch black background of the cover of the book adds an additional contrast with the steel hued dummy in the front and also highlights the title inscribed in white, red and blue, on the right hand upper corner of the book. It is eye catching.

Title: The title is apt to the content of the novel. The main plot of the story revolves around Mohan Mishra who is bestowed by God with a rare mental illness of unable to express his opinions and feelings in heart.

Go Clown: #AccheDin for Comedy by Shatrugna Vadwlas

The book with its title itself makes you dig in deep and know what is the book about.

The cover itself is so amazing and catchy. This book is one long read, but to mention a good one. This book is a humorous account of the life of an Indian student. It is a book with intelligent humor. It targets almost every aspect of life – paid media, education, caste, creed, hypocrisy of NRIs, etc. The language is simple and easy to comprehend. However, I did find some serious grammatical errors, but in the light of a good plot they can be ignored. I found it quite engaging overall. The subject is tackled intricately by the skillful author.
Words usage is fabulous. At times I felt I was confused but it makes sense slowly and steadily.
Go Clown is hilariously amazing journey of Kiriti from College to Job, Ganga to Ganja, Fun to Ragging. Author has brilliantly penned down the simple events of our life in sarcastic way. And finally with the Mystical Game which casts a shadow on Kiriti’s life having been won, everything is laid to rest under a blanket of white, only to be stumbled upon by a Sherpa on the peaks of the mighty Himalayas that wake up something inside of his adorable son.
I love the concept and plot!

2 Peg ke Baad by Nikita Lalwani

A collection of 14 short stories. The name is itself says it all, but very tempting. Each story has something new to offer. Every story ends with a twist. It gives you a realization of LIFE. Each and every story teaches us something about life. Every emotion is beautifully crafted and represented by the author. I was moved after reading each story. I felt all the emotions which were felt by the persons in the stories. So you yourself can imagine how powerful and beautiful these stories can be. I would say Creativity at its best.
The vocabulary part is superb and you can see how beautifully the author paints the scenic nature in all the stories. The book has a gripping magic that starts right from the beginning.
The first and last story in a collection of short stories, according to me, should be the best as they set the expectations. A Walk with a Call Girl and Car No. 88 (inspired by a true story) were the first and the last story and both of them were striking.
The different thing about this book is that stories are not written in a very conventional way. You never know when the climax pops and the rest of the story still goes in rhythm, since the use of dates and locations is done pretty intelligently.
The language of the novel is very attention gripping and simple to understand.
I love the cover page and name!

Author Interview: Shilpi Chaklanobis!

Today we have here, Shilpi Chaklanobis, the author of Panorama

What were you as a child?
I was a very shy kid and introvert by nature. I am a voracious reader since my childhood and used to spend hours with my books. I used to live in a campus and we had a beautiful kitchen garden that was full of seasonal flowers and vegetables. I loved spending time in the garden amongst the greenery and lovely flowers.

When did the writing bug strike you?
It all started with a blog. There was so much that I wanted to share with the world and so I started this blog. Initially I wrote only for it to share my views on various topics but later on I decided to write this book.

Do you have any unique or quirky writing habits?
I always ensure to write in a particular font style and size. If somehow the font gets altered, I make it a point to set it to my preferred style.

How has your environment & upbringing colored your writing?
I grew up in IIT Kanpur. Apart from constantly being surrounded by academicians and people who devoured books by the dozen, the campus was a city within itself. Everyone was very warm and the families who lived there were very tight knit. It created the perfect atmosphere for a young child like me to develop a unique perspective on relationships that further helped me write this book.

Describe what your ideal writing space looks like.
A lovely cottage on a quiet hill station surrounded by serene natural beauty.

What do you consider to be your best accomplishment?
I am the kind of person who doesn’t count accomplishments because I believe there’s lot more left to achieve. So if I start keeping track of these, I would cease to grow and achieve new things.

What are your current projects?
Currently I am working on two novels and both of them are love stories. They are not romantic novels but deal with the complexities of love and how it can change lives for better and for worse.

Can you share with us the best way to reach you and where to learn more about your books?
I can be reached at shilpic100@gmail.com. One can also visit my Amazon author’s page at http://www.amazon.in/Shilpi-Chaklanobis/e/B01DXWD2HO

What's the strangest thing you have ever had to research online for your book?
Since all the stories in the book revolve around human relationships, it was more of observation and experience than research that helped me churning out the stories. So for this book, there was not much to be researched online.

If you were deserted on an island, which three people would you want to have with you? Why?
My family: my elder sister Dr. Sujata Chaklanobis, Brother In Law Mr. I. Chakraborty and my darling niece Priya who is more of a friend. Why? Because four of us can find happiness anywhere if we are together even if it is a deserted island.

A Broken Man by Akash Verma

A Dalit boy, falling in love with Bhramin young girl is a perfect plot to write on!

On the first look of this novel, I thought it is as like two states but it actually comes to be a big surprise! Yes! I loved it.

The partition of these 2 hearts because of rank and status is horribly buzzword. It is likewise a mirror picture of our general public and it's recognition.

The whole plot of the story makes us doubt our mentality. In spite of the fact that the time the story plays in, is 10 years prior, despite everything it brings up the same issues we confront today.

This sentimental story, spiced with governmental issues, courses through the passageways of a Lucknow college, over the open fields of Bihar and circled into the tumultuous way of life of Mumbai.

There are a few pages in the book that touch our hearts.

Whenever Krishna, the male hero of the story, finds the enchantment of an adoring touch, he takes us back to our first love and our conditional touches.

Krishna discovers all the adoration he merits in Chavvi.

The route in which Chhavi changes Krishna's life generally advantageous, she makes the perusers need a partner precisely like her.

Akash Verma have splendidly outlined this character which begins winning your heart right from his entrance in preamble and afterward in the flashback. The passageway of Chhavi gives story the required blast after which book goes to the following level itself. Perusing about the governmental issues in the college was so crisp for somebody like me who have never experienced it that I needed to peruse increasingly about it. The civil arguments between the lead characters amid the road plays are one of the best scenes in the book. Later on, the underlying associations between both the characters post-contention is additionally treated exceptionally well. To put it plainly, I give full checks to the principal half of the book. The characters of Gope, his group, Chhavi's dad, Krishna's folks are likewise amazingly created.

The story effectively shows enough enthusiasm among the perusers to stay connected with till the end. The story is plain and goes just faultless leaving a peruser more inquisitive about how the story is going to end . What's more, yes ,obviously the one thing that turns out to be the most interesting is the verse abilities showed by the writer in this book. Those having a decent taste for verse are likewise going to love various stuff something other than what's expected about this book and I for one cherished it.

So essentially, this book is refined to pass on a profound message and the writer has effectively done it.

Masters

• The station contrast has been indicated what exists in the truth.

• The short stories in the book are very inspiring.

• The foulness of legislative issues is portrayed flawlessly.

Cons-

• The plot appears to be normal and does not have any one of a kind thing in it.

• Printing botches ruin the perusing.

I adore it!
