Heartfelt Transition: Supporting Your Baby as You Return to Work

Babies do not start hating their mothers when they leave after maternity leave, nor do they forget them. Babies may experience some separation anxiety or distress when their primary caregiver leaves, which is a normal part of their development. This reaction is rooted in their attachment to their caregiver, and it does not mean they hate or forget them.

When a mother returns to work after maternity leave, it's common for babies to feel upset or confused initially. However, with consistent care and attention, they will adjust to the new routine. Babies have a strong ability to form and retain bonds with their primary caregivers, and this bond is not easily broken.

To ease the transition, mothers can try the following:

  • Gradual Separation: If possible, start with shorter separations before returning to work full-time.
  • Consistent Routine: Maintain a consistent daily routine to help the baby feel secure.
  • Quality Time: Spend quality time with the baby before and after work to reinforce the bond.
  • Reassurance: Offer plenty of reassurance and affection to the baby during this adjustment period.

Ultimately, with patience and consistency, babies will adapt, and their strong bond with their mothers will remain intact.

Dual Possession- The Exorcism of Ketki Katoch Dual Possession- The Exorcism of Ketki Katoch by Sandeep Sinha

Just finished "Dual Possession: The Exorcism of Ketki Katoch," and I must say, Sandeep Sinha has truly outdone himself. While I'm not deeply familiar with this genre, Sinha's meticulous attention to detail and his adept handling of the intricate plot are commendable.

His dedication to research shines through, seamlessly weaving Indian occult practices into a compelling narrative. From start to finish, I was captivated, finding it difficult to put the book down. Despite knowing the outcome hinted at by the title, Sinha skillfully maintains suspense, keeping readers engaged throughout.

The characters are richly developed, and the story unfolds with surprising twists and turns. As an author myself, I believe in candid feedback, and I can't help but offer a few insights. Incorporating more sci-fi elements into the investigation process could have added depth and authenticity, enhancing the overall experience. Additionally, further exploring Professor Adityanath's role could have heightened the emotional impact and added another layer to the story.

While Kavita's sacrifice was poignant, amplifying its suddenness could have intensified its impact. Experimenting with the exorcism by separating the protagonists could have added an intriguing dimension, keeping readers on the edge of their seats.

These are merely my musings, not criticisms, as Sandeep Sinha's work speaks for itself. His mastery of suspense, thrills, and emotional depth is evident throughout. The characters, especially the two protagonists, leap off the page, making "Dual Possession: The Exorcism of Ketki Katoch" a must-read for anyone craving an exhilarating ride.

Here are some sustainable travel options to consider:

These reserves offer opportunities to observe a wide variety of birds and animals in their natural habitat and learn about conservation efforts.

These attractions showcase local art, culture, and crafts while promoting sustainable practices and supporting local communities.

There are several cycling tours available, such as the Delhi By Cycle tour, which takes you through Old Delhi's narrow streets and alleys, and the Haveli tour, which takes you through the city's traditional havelis (mansions).

Eco-friendly homes in Delhi NCR: How to make your home more sustainable

Hello Readers,

Welcome to my blog!

As the world continues to grapple with the challenges of climate change, many people are turning towards sustainable living. One way to contribute towards sustainability is by making your home more eco-friendly. In Delhi NCR, where rapid urbanization and development have led to an increased strain on natural resources, it is more important than ever to adopt eco-friendly practices in our homes. Here are some tips for making your home more sustainable:

  1. Energy-efficient lighting: One of the simplest ways to make your home more sustainable is to switch to energy-efficient lighting. LED bulbs consume up to 75% less energy than traditional bulbs, which will save you money on your electricity bill while reducing your carbon footprint.
  2. Solar panels: Installing solar panels is a great way to generate your own clean energy. Although the initial investment can be high, it will pay off in the long run, and you'll also have the satisfaction of knowing that you're doing your part to combat climate change.
  3. Water conservation: With water scarcity becoming a growing concern in Delhi NCR, it's essential to adopt water conservation measures in your home. This can include installing low-flow showerheads and faucets, fixing leaks promptly, and using a rainwater harvesting system to collect and reuse rainwater.
  4. Eco-friendly materials: When renovating your home or building a new one, opt for eco-friendly materials like bamboo flooring, recycled glass countertops, and reclaimed wood. These materials are not only sustainable but also add a unique and stylish touch to your home.
  5. Indoor plants: Adding indoor plants to your home not only enhances the aesthetics but also improves the air quality. Plants absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen, which makes them natural air purifiers.
  6. Composting: Composting your kitchen waste is an easy way to reduce your contribution to landfills. You can create your compost bin or purchase one and use it to turn your food waste into nutrient-rich soil for your plants.
  7. Smart home automation: Smart home automation systems can help you save energy and reduce your carbon footprint by optimizing your home's energy usage. You can control your lighting, heating, and cooling systems remotely, and even program them to adjust automatically based on your daily routine.

In conclusion, making your home more sustainable doesn't have to be difficult or expensive. By following these simple tips, you can contribute towards creating a more eco-friendly and sustainable future for Delhi NCR and the world.

Teeth Pain, Gum Swelling & Cheek Swelling

I am sure that you must be mourning your toothache or gum swelling, that you click on my blog. Sorry to learn about your pang. I can understand what you must be fumbling right now. I have been mourning a gum infection for a week now.

Toothache can have causes that aren't due to underlying disease.

For many days, I was partaking some sensitiveness while eating sweets or hot meals, or beverages. I never gave adequate importance to this sensitivity issue that my teeth were going through until I genuinely hit painfully on my cheeks one night. I visited a chemist nearby and asked him to give me painkillers and Sensodyne paste.

Well, I thought the role of the chemist was identical to the Dentist.

I was so WRONG!

A regular salt water rinse and cold compress application can typically remedy minor irritation, but more serious toothaches may require a dentist’s intervention- I accept!

Week after week, I keep on neglecting these discomfort and sensitiveness problems.

But one fine day, I woke up with inflated cheeks and ultra painful gum!

Trust me, I couldn't believe my eyes. How hideous I was looking that day. All thanks to the COVID-19 mask that rescued me from showing my face at the office.

I determined to take a day off the next day, and visit my family Dentist.

Dr. Vibha Arora

PUNYA DENTAL CLINIC

Address: 41, Block F 1U, Uttari Pitampura, Pitam Pura, Delhi, 110088

Phone: 098998 31634

I told myself that if my symptoms persist for more than a day or two, I will see my dentist. She can provide guidance on how to ameliorate my symptoms and control future discomfort.

But waiting for two or three days more can make my circumstances more alarming.

I was looking like a monkey with those bloated cheeks.

So, I visited Dr Vibha, the same day.

The doctor was considerate and listened to all my questions with patience.

She looks at my gum and ensures me that within a few days my cheek will be fine.

She suggested me to take:

  • Tab Augmentin 625 mg

  • Tab Enzoflam

  • And Salt water gargles 3-4 times a day.

For many people, a saltwater rinse is an efficacious first-line treatment. Saltwater is a natural disinfectant, and it can help loosen food particles and debris that may be stuck in between our teeth. Treating a toothache with salt water can also help reduce inflammation and heal any oral wounds. To use this approach, I mix 1/2 teaspoon (tsp) of salt into a glass of warm water and use it as a mouthwash.

I started doing salt water rinse 4-5 times a day. It was convincing, I Suppose

Along with it, I also started my medication- Tab Augmentin 625 mg and Tab Enzoflam.

  • Tab Augmentin 625 mg - for the swelling

  • Tab Enzoflam- for pain relieving

Tab Augmentin 625 mg is a penicillin-type of antibiotic that helps your body fight infections caused by bacteria. I guess this is the main tablet that will help my gum swelling problem.

One Augmentin 625 mg  tablet should be consumed two times a day for five days for best results.

Augmentin 625 Duo Tablet contains two different medicines, Amoxycillin and Clavulanic Acid, that work together to kill the bacteria that cause infections. Amoxycillin works by stopping the growth of bacteria. Clavulanic Acid reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Amoxycillin against bacteria.

Although you might not notice it right away, antibiotics begin working as soon as you start taking them. Usually, within 2-3 days, you'll start feeling better and see an improvement in the infection.

17 Jan 2022, I started using Augmentin 625 mg  tablet.

Will surely share my experience in my next blog.

Next comes- Enzoflam!

Enzoflam Tablet is a combination of medicines that is used for short term relief of pain, inflammation and swelling. It aids in the relief of mild pain and reducing fever. It's used to treat muscle aches, back pain, joint pain, menstrual cramps, and toothaches, among other things. Enzoflam is commonly used to relieve pain.

So, all in all, My dentist uses a tablet for bacterial infection, another for the pain , and salt water to reduce inflammation and heal any oral wounds.

Will be sharing my next blog, for the review part.

Stay Tuned!

& Keep brushing your teeth.

Ganesh Chaturthi 2021 | Vinayaka Chaturthi |

Ganesh Chaturthi will be celebrated on September 10 this year.

In India, Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated with great zeal every year. It will be commemorated on September 10 this year. Although the event is commemorated throughout the country, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Gujarat, Odisha, Goa, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, and Uttar Pradesh celebrate it with great fanfare.
It is also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi, and it commemorates Lord Ganesha's birth.

The festival will come to an end on September 21.

Lord Ganesha is worshipped first in various traditions before beginning any puja or anything auspicious in homes or places of business.

While some people celebrate it for only two days, others celebrate it for ten days, bidding Lord Ganesha farewell on Anant Chaturdashi in the hopes of welcome him again the following year. Devotees present Lord Ganesha's favourite dessert, Modak, as prasad.

GANESH CHATURTHI 2021: SHUBH MUHURAT

Like every other Hindu festival, muhurat plays an important role in the celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi. This year, the most auspicious time for the puja is from 11:03 am till 1:33 pm on September 10. The Chaturthi Tithi begins at 12:18 am on September 10 and ends at 09:57 pm on September 10.

Important Ganesh Chaturthi Pooja Vidhi Stages or Steps

A chowki, or pedestal, is set up where the puja or devotion will begin, and the pedestal is draped with a red fabric.
On the pedestal is either a clay idol or a photograph of the deity.
Following that are Pranopchar and Shodashopachara, which are also vital aspects of the Ganesh Chaturthi Pooja Vidhi.
Pranopchar refers to the act of calling life into a clay idol.
The earthen lamp and incense sticks are lit to begin the devotion or puja.
Then, in order to invoke Lord Ganesha's blessings, prayers are offered to him.
The idol is doused with holy water.
The idol is then draped in sacred thread, which represents the donation of clothing to it.
Tilak of Roli or sindoor is then applied to the deity’s forehead.
Next, modak or laddoo, gangajal or holy water(drawn from the river Ganges) and flower garlands are offered to the idol.
Avahana is a Sanskrit word that meaning "to welcome and ask the blessings of the gods and goddesses." At this point, the Avahan Mudra (connecting the palms of the hands) is observed, and the mantra is recited.
Installation of the clay idol while chanting mantra is the next phase.
Asana Samarpan: Prayers and flowers are offered after the rites of establishing and calling the Lord. Anjali is the name for this. Mantras are chanted all along the way.
Padya Samarpan: Padya means feet in Hindi, and Padya Samarpan is washing Lord Ganesh's feet with water. Throughout the procedure, mantras are chanted.
Arghya Samarpan: This phase is presenting perfume to Lord Ganesha while meditating.
This is the Snana Mantra, which is used to offer water for bathing.
Panchamrita Panchamrita is a Sanskrit word that means "five elixirs." For the deity's bath, honey, milk, curd, sugar, and ghee are offered.
Dugdha, Dadhi, Ghrita, Madhu, Sharkara, Suvasita, and Shuddhodaka Snanam: Bathing the Lord in order with milk curd, ghee, honey, sugar, and fragrant oil or holy water.
Vastra Samarpan: Providing the Lord with fresh robes.
Pushpa Mala, Shami Patra, Durvankura, Sindoor, Dhoop, Gandha, and Akshata Samarpan: flower garlands, leaves, grass, vermilion, incense sticks, perfume, and unbroken rice are all offerings to the Lord.
Betel nut, coconut, and presents are offered in Tambula, Narikela, and Dakshina Samarpan.
Neerajan and Visarjan: Finally the worship of Lord Ganesh concludes with Visarjan which means drowning the idol in water.

 Now the Review:

The book is a story woven around the dreadful incident that happened in February 2019 at

Pulwama village, Jammu & Kashmir. The action sequences, the emotional quotient and two interesting tales running parallel make the book extremely interesting. Based on the actual incident, authors Vivek Trivedi and Smitha Agarwal gave their readers an inspiring and interesting story that involves action, emotion, patriotism, unconditional love, valour and responsibility. In this 134 page book, there is no single place where the reader's mind get off track. This is fine work in the realistic fiction genre. I recommend this book to every book lover.

The story runs in two parallel threads — what happened to the pilot Anand who was caught behind the enemy border and what will Clinton Joseph, NIA officer investigating the Pulwama attack find about the reasons and personnel behind this gruesome attack. The narration keeps alternating between these two storylines and keeps the reader on the edge. The mood of the book if set by the backdrop chosen and the pace is maintained well by the authors till the end.

At less than 150 pages, it makes for a quick read. This book makes for a good read for fans of thriller and action stories and to those who like to read about contemporary events.
